The world has changed in many ways since the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for leaders. Almost every organization (regardless of its size) is still resolving what does the normal business environment look like going forward, and how do we take into account work-life balance? Is it a return to 5 days a week for everyone back in the office, 100% remote, or some hybrid-model in between?
Regardless of whether you are a line manager with direct reports, or a PMP leading a project team, the challenges for you today are also shifting. In this virtual action-oriented discussion, we will explore possible answers and insights to these challenges based on research revealed in DDI’s* Global Leadership Forecast 2025.**
Some key areas we will discuss:
- From 2022 to 2024, trust in immediate managers took a dramatic nosedive from 46% to 29%.
- Stress is surging among leaders. 71% report a significant increase in their stress levels, as compared to 63% in 2022. 54% are concerned about burnout, and 40% are considering leaving to improve well-being.
- Frontline Leader’s Purpose Fades as C-Suite Thrives. C-Suite leaders have seen a steady increase in their sense of purpose – rising from 62% in 2022 to 67% in 2024, frontline leaders experienced a 20% decline in their sense of purpose compared to 2020.
- We will discuss what we as individual leaders can do to reverse these critical trends?
