PMI Delaware Valley Chapter
Events & Programming Overview
Variety & Value are Yours
Variety of Programming
Monthly Webinars
The Chapter features topic meetings with SME speakers at least once every month. The subjects are timely and relevant and our before-and-after structure affords ample networking opportunities.
Annual Chapter Meeting
Hear from Chapter leadership, learn about new initiatives and emerging trends, pose a question, and share some quality time with your fellow Chapter members.
Professional Development Days (PDDs)
Twice a year, the Chapter hosts a partial or all-day event, featuring speakers, workshops, and networking sessions. A wonderful opportunity to learn, rub elbows (albeit, virtually for now), and earn some bulk PDUs.
Networking Events
As the constraints of the pandemic ease, the Chapter will once again be featuring dinner, breakfast and roundtable networking events. Great for those exploring career moves and good for a few PDUs.
Exam Prep Courses
A PMI Authorized Training Provider, the Chapter offers Exam Prep courses for PMP and CAPM certification aspirants. Satisfy your educational requirements and ready yourself for the big day.
Agile Open House Programming
Agile-specific seminars on engaging topics taught by experienced Agilists. Learn from the experts and join in the conversation with your fellow attendees.
Quick Tips
EVENT REGISTRATION & PDUs
PDUs are an investment. Protect your investment and facilitate accounting by following these quick tips.
Automate PDU reporting
When registering for an event, include your PMI number to automate PDU reporting. Make certain it’s your PMI number; NOT your certification number. Where to find your PMI number? Sign in to PMI. Click your name (top/right). Select Dashboard. Voila! It’s featured as a Membership ID to the immediate right of your name.
The right screen-name
Use your full name (first and last). Avoid nicknames, first-names only, etc. Event administrators confirm attendance through screen names. A full and accurate screen name means you get those PDUs sooner and with less headache. Also, remain for the full session. No cutting out early.
Double-check your PDUs
PMI typically posts earned PDUs within 2 weeks of an event. That said, double-check! Visit your PMI Dashboard, scroll down to your PDU pie-chart, and click View Claim History in the bottom right of the section-box. Make certain those well-deserved PDUs are present and accounted for.
Target specific PDU categories
Short on a particular PDU category? Hunting for applicable events? The event calendar enables you to search on PDU category. And on each event description page, the number and category of PDUs is listed.
