Description:

AI/ML development projects have unique characteristics that require a fresh look at the application of project management techniques to give them a better chance of success. The industry has made a lot of progress in adapting our approaches to meet the needs of the project instead of trying to fit every project into the same approach. Agile practices are typically used in AI/ML development due the fluid nature of the work, but there are some significant adjustments that need to be made. In this presentation we will explore the challenges and strategies that you can use to help organizations move beyond the hype and deliver value to customers.

Learning objectives:

  • Introduction to Agile and Scrum in the context of AI product development.
  • Understanding the similarities and differences between traditional SW Development and AI/ML/Data development.
  • Identifying the key skills and tools you’ll need to address the new challenges in the AI product development world.
