We’ll explore how new ways of work improve business agility and help expand business, client and consumer opportunities. Project, program, portfolio and risk managers are often responsible and recognized for building partnerships, plans and communication ecosystems with internal and external business leaders, subject matter experts and technologists to deliver innovative solutions. We’ll discuss these and other strengths of PM roles for enterprises using the cloud; and, you’ll learn how cloud migration and development projects create growth opportunities. Continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment practices contribute to increased velocity of value delivery and often involve transformation of roles and methods. She has over 25 years of project management, program management, and product owner experience delivering client and employee technology solutions, establishing the strategic direction for governing data, and managing corporate cultural change efforts to improve the way employees work. Lara is committed to enabling change in her community as a Board Member and Volunteer Advocate for the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County. Joe Ardin, PMP, RMP, CQA is the SAP Director Risk Management for Cloud Innovation and Maintenance for the western hemisphere (the Americas). Joe has been working for SAP since May of 2000, supporting external and internal software development. Since 2016, he has been engaged in the transformation of SAP into being “The Cloud Company." SAP as “The Cloud Company” creates innovative business solutions leveraging the latest in software technology and cloud data platforms to create global sustainable business solutions that focus on making the world run better for humanity. Some examples can be observed in the SAP Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM) that forms an integral part of the SAP Oil & Gas downstream solution designed to manage hydrocarbons within a global market. One of Joe’s career highlights is the realization of CancerLinQ, a subsidiary of ASCO, is a mission-driven, non-profit health technology company focused on improving quality of care, advancing biomedical research, and improving health outcomes for all patients with cancer. (Home | ASCO CancerLinQ.) Prior to SAP, Joe’s experience spans chemical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. He also served in the military for 22.5 years and is a FAA certified Flight Engineer on C-141-B Starlifter. Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. John Howard is the Chief Project Officer for the Judge Consulting Group and holds PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, Scrum Alliance and Private Pilot FAA certifications. He is an inspirational and visionary IT professional. John has 20+ years of deep program/project management experience designing and implementing agile software delivery and PMO frameworks. John excels at team building and enabling people to work as a cohesive unit. As a Project Management Professional and a Certified ScrumMaster, he creates an agile culture that consistently delivers real business value. John is a graduate of Eastern University with a B.A. Organizational Leadership and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Moderator: Kathy Lajoie Malik, MS, PMP, DASM is a technology program manager with achievement delivering critical programs involving business transformation, global teams, a wide range of technologies and direct client engagement. In addition to consulting in financial services, Kathy’s roles included VP Program Management for BNY Mellon where she led the global technology team on the $100M Tri-Party Repo Reform Program which reduced BNY Mellon intraday credit risk by 97% and delivered new settlement, collateral optimization, credit line monitoring and liquidity management processes for the $2 T tri-party repurchase agreement (repo) market. As NYSE Director, Program Management, she created and led the Hybrid Market PMO needed for the >300 major SW releases to transform the manual trading floor to being mostly electronic. Kathy’s career began in the aerospace industry where she led a consulting and Advanced Database Technology Management organization. She holds a MS in Aero and Astro Engineering from Stanford University and BS in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State. Kathy serves as PMI-DVC EVP and COO; and, she leads the PMI-DVC Corporate Partnership and Sponsorship Committee and the PMI-DVC Website, Data and Email Distribution Awesomeness Upgrade Program. Kathy also serves on the Penn State Multi-Disciplinary Engineering (MDE) Industry Professional Advisory Council (IPAC) and on the Cloud Security Alliance - Delaware Valley board.
