You think you’ve got a strong team—until everything shifts. A reorg. A new leader. A major system implementation. Suddenly, performance dips, decisions stall, and people start protecting turf. Sound familiar?

The truth is, most teams aren’t built for disruption—they're built for status quo. And that’s why so many leaders are blindsided when change hits and the cracks start to show. It’s not that your team is broken. It’s that your team was never taught how to stretch without snapping.

In this high-impact talk, leadership strategist Kate Vendemio tackles the invisible gap between calm-day collaboration and storm-weathering resilience. You’ll uncover what happens when teams move too fast without building trust, why stress exposes more than it causes, and what great leaders do differently before the chaos arrives. Packed with insights, field-tested examples, and leadership reframes, this session gives decision-makers a new lens on what it really takes to build teams that endure.

What Attendees Will Walk Away With:

  • A new lens for assessing their team's actual—not perceived—readiness for disruption
  • Recognition of the “early warning signs” of cultural instability
  • Actionable ways to embed adaptability, communication, and trust into daily team habits
