Description:

Despite a wide field of tools, technologies and methodologies available to the modern Project Manager, most projects - as many as 65% - still fail to deliver the intended outcomes. This is often due to silos and disconnects between the people, applications and data involved in a project.  The key to modernizing successful project outcomes lies not just in leveraging sophisticated tools or methodologies, but in harmonizing the human and digital aspects of project management and work.  This session will explore how to elevate your project management and work and streamline collaboration for more successful project outcomes.

• How AI bridges the gaps between humans and technology: People perform work that is not the same as the work required to manage it. Leveraged properly, AI can helps solve the human-technology disconnect to provide real-time feedback to monitor and manage the work humans do on projects and other initiatives, enabling project managers to spend less time chasing data and more time engaging stakeholders and other leadership activities.
• Update on the latest Microsoft Project/Work Management Tools: Gain a deeper understanding of Microsoft’s project management ecosystem, including Microsoft Planner, Teams and Project for the web, and Project.
• Microsoft Teams as the hub of all Project/Work Management: Explore the seamless integration between Microsoft Teams and work management tools like Planner, fostering a collaborative environment for project teams and reducing the disconnects between people, applications and data.

Presenter Bio:

Mike Taylor, CEO of Innovative-e

Mike Taylor, CEO of Innovative-e, Inc., boasts a 30-year career in project and work management. Since founding Innovative-e in 1999 and more recently, DigiOps, a software company, Mike has driven solutions for both niche firms and Global 500 enterprises, tackling project management, custom app development, and infrastructure modernization.

Prior to his current ventures, Mike founded Microtechnix International in 1990, a tech consulting firm sold in 1999. His earlier roles included McDonnell Douglas where he developed project management software for NASA's Space Shuttle and ISS programs. Mike holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from PMI since 2001.

As a Founder and CEO, Mike is a prolific content creator and speaker, contributing to publications like CMS Wire and Forbes CIO Network.
