Topic: Peak Performance for Project Managers Speaker: Scott Welle OUT-PER-FORM v. To surpass in excellence of performance; do better than. Outperformers are not born; they’re made. We ALL have the capacity to “raise our game,” but, unfortunately, peak performance is not a subject we were taught in school and most of what we hear in the mainstream media is wrong. In this interactive program, Scott leverages his 20+ years studying high achievement, blends it with professional examples and personal stories, to “peel back the psychological onion” so you can understand how to truly get the best out of you AND your team. The insights and tools you will gain will allow you to win the mental game, set goals more effectively, achieve goals more efficiently, and thrive through the inevitable changes that you experience in project management. It will transform the way you look at your performance potential and what it means to Outperform in all areas of your life. OVERVIEW: Today's competition is brutal, and deadlines drive everything. The pressure to perform can be suffocating. What are you doing to stay ahead and keep from burning out? Join Scott Welle, #1 Best Selling Author and Founder of Outperform The Norm, as he shares the peak performance strategies used by high achievers to take your project management “game” to the next level. Challenge limiting beliefs about your performance standards that may be holding you back Establish a peak performance routine by utilizing the “Vital 4%” Focus on the two factors that will allow you to get more done, faster and easier (“productive” vs. “busy”) Recognize the crucial components shared by ALL Outperforming teams Boost positivity and happiness by up to 30% Compare the value of goals vs. systems in project management Enhance communication style and feedback to inspire and motivate your team members Bio: Scott Welle has spent his life helping people achieve peak performance, personally and professionally. Scott’s 8 best-selling books, articles, videos, podcasts and online programs inspire hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. He has a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology, is an adjunct professor at St. Olaf University and regularly consults with top performing executives, project managers and entrepreneurs, as well as elite athletes, all with one common goal: to OUTPERFORM. Fox 9 in Minneapolis-St Paul has called him a “Motivational Expert.” and he was recently named the 2021 Midwest Motivational Speaker of the Year. For “fun” (and because he’s a little crazy!), Scott has completed 29 marathons, 5 Ironman triathlons, a 100-mile ultra-marathon, and serves others by showing them how to tap into the mindset of challenging their self-limiting beliefs and aspiring to be their best every day.

Can Agile be applied to environments outside of IT fields? When: Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Where: Via Zoom Credit: 1.5 PDUs The general misconception around Agile Frameworks is that Agile only works in Software Development and general IT-related environments. Although penned by Technologists and originally intended to solve the authors’ problems in Software development, the Agile Manifesto fundamentally applies to any environment that needs to respond to change quickly. Agilists today promote an “Agile Mindset” foremost over following frameworks, processes, and ceremonies. The “Agile Mindset” promotes respect, collaboration, ownership, and constant iterative improvement. With this understanding, the possibilities to apply Agile practices and principles are endless. How does this play out in practice? Join PMI-DVC Agile Education for an evening with Glenn Strausser, author of, Agile project management concepts applied to construction and other non-IT fields.
