Speaker Biography:

Amer Ali is an AI-in-project-management educator and speaker, PMI Authorized Training Partner instructor, and multi-credentialed project professional. He helps project managers and PMOs apply AI to real project delivery, including AI-assisted status reporting, risk visibility, and connected agent workflows, without weakening judgment, stakeholder leadership, governance, or accountability. His sessions are practical and interactive, with participants building, testing, and governing solutions rather than only watching demonstrations. He is the author of eight project-management books and has presented for PMI audiences on practical AI workflows, guardrails, and human judgment.
Session Summary:
Most project professionals use AI as a writing assistant. This two-evening, hands-on work lab will help you go further by building a connected digital project team that can review project inputs, flag risks and changes, draft follow-ups, and pause for human approval. On November 6, you will start with real business problems, identify quick wins, and build two foundation agents. On November 13, you will develop specialist agents, connect them into an AI Project Control Room, add governance and escalation controls, and stress-test the workflow against a project crisis. The workshop is platform-neutral and requires no coding. Bring a laptop and access to a generative-AI platform approved by your organization. You will leave with working agents, reusable templates, a governance checklist, and a 30-day implementation plan. Attendance is limited to 50 participants, and a waitlist will open when capacity is reached.
Learning Objectives:
- Design and build no-code AI agents for project-management work, including status, risk, change impact, stakeholder communication, and executive briefing.
- Connect agents into a governed Project Control Room with human review points, an escalation ladder, and a stop condition; apply Trust–Challenge–Overrule to AI recommendations.
- Test agents using a scorecard and adversarial scenarios, apply practical token-cost rules, and leave with an agent, named owner, stop condition, and 30-day implementation plan.
