The Event Calendar indicates upcoming all Chapter events for the current calendar year and beyond.
It is anticipated that each PMI-DVC monthly event meeting planning process commences at least several months in advance. For 2021 all events will be virtual unless Government Regulations permit us to hold in-person meetings. The Virtual platform we plan to use in 2021 will be Zoom. We intend to use features of Zoom such as Breakout Rooms and Polling during planned events. Event attendance typically ranges from to 200 to 250 attendees. The program committee does review the various Project Management and related subjects and ensures we are not repeating a subject on a frequent basis. The Program Committee also awards Professional development Units or PDU’s at the conclusion of each event. The transmission of PDU’s to PMI usually occurs within 2 weeks after the meeting has concluded. We always welcome our Chapter Members comments and suggestions via a feedback survey, which is distributed at the conclusion of each event.
