PMI-APICS Supply Chain & ASQ Methodologies

Please join us for a PMI Monthly Dinner Meeting and to hear from experienced professionals from PM, ASQ and APICS and how these methodologies blend together in delivering a process that is acceptable to a respective customer.  We also be inviting members of the local ASQ and APICS chapters to join with our fellow PMI-DVC members to hear about this important subject,

About the Speakers:

J.B. Anderson, CSCP, SCOR-P, PMP, ITIL-F, 6 Sigma Blackbelt.  An experienced past Supply Chain Consultant from DuPont, certified member of APICS, Sig Sigma Blackbelt and certified  Project Manager in Finance MIS at JP Morgan Chase & Company will compare and contrast the APICS Supply Chain and ASQ methodologies from a PMI perspective using PMI Knowledge areas to identify common and leveraged processes, tools and techniques common across all three methodologies including project integration, project scope, project stakeholder and project communication management. 

Next, J.B. will contrast the different methodologies with a focus on the different project roles, quality management metrics and risk approaches within the methodologies.  J.B. will conclude by providing website and contact information for each of the different organizations and then the panel will have a Q&A session.

Chris Connors, Ph.D., LSSMBB, ASQ CSSBB, ASQ CMQ-OE, PMP.  Chris is a business process improvement expert and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt leading cross-functional business improvements in variety of industries.

He is adept at developing people to become more productive and helps companies to increase profits, improve efficiencies and enhance quality.

Dr. Connors earned a Ph.D. in 1993 in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Temple University. His dissertation compared the leadership and moral reasoning of senior executives in banking and healthcare.

His skills include Lean Six Sigma DMAIC coaching/instruction, design of experiments, design for six sigma, project management, root cause analysis, Kepner-Tregoe problem solving, lean manufacturing, kaizen, corporate metrics and dashboards, balanced scorecards, executive coaching, survey instrument design and analysis, supply chain management, statistical analysis, instructional design, leadership development, and organizational assessments.

Janice Gullo, CPIM-F, CSCP, CLTD, SCOR-P, CPF is an experienced Senior Supply Chain Consultant for Lean Six for SCM Consulting, LLC, a consortium of Supply Chain Subject Matter Experts, located in Wilmington, Delaware. Janice is a trainer, coach, and collaborator focusing on the improvement of Demand and Supply Chain Processes using a Lean Six Sigma approach for Demand Management, Manufacturing, Sales & Operations Planning, and Supply Chain Management.  Janice is a Certified Professional Forecaster designated by the Institute of Business Forecasting.

As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Janice serves as a member of the Rutgers Executive Education Lean Six Sigma Certification Board.  She is a coach and trainer for Greenbelts and Black Belts pursuing their Lean Six Sigma certifications.

Janice has a B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a Past President on the Board of Directors for the APICS Brandywine Valley Chapter.

She has served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for APICS Body of Knowledge Committee. Janice has presented multiple times at the APICS International Conference, the Institute of Business Forecasting Conference, and DelBio Supply Chain Summit.
