The PMI-DVC, Managing Life's Projects Program, has partnered with The Veterans Group (TVG) to support their mission through the application of project management skills and knowledge. Link: http://www.theveteransgroup.org/
The Veterans Group is a registered non-profit organization operating two homes in the University City section of Philadelphia. Their mission is to empower Veterans in need to achieve success in civilian society. TVG accomplishes this by providing safe and secure housing, nutritious meals, and a variety of programs and services in a community of support and care.

The project management field is always changing in ways that both experienced and prospective Project Managers must consider as they plan their career. Everyone is challenged with questions about adapting to agile practices; there are new ways of thinking as well as newly defined roles to consider! Everyone wonders about the value of certifications – is the new one useful, or just another thing pushed by the education-industrial complex?
In the midst of all this it can be important to pause, to take time and consider your own, highly personal, interests and goals. Why are you in this field? What draws you to it? What do you love doing, and how do you get do more of it?

The annual Certification Night Dinner Meeting is a great opportunity to hear about the certification process and requirements, get tips on how to prepare for the exam, join a study group and network! For those of you who are certified, come and share your test-taking strategies, how to prepare, and what to expect on test day. And, earn two PDUs!
You will also have the opportunity to speak directly with our educational sponsors, as well as other educational resources, who will be there to answer your questions about available courses, tools and resources.
