Call for Nominations: PMI-DVC Board of Director Positions

The PMI-DVC Nomination and Election Committee, as appointed by the PMI-DVC Board of Directors, is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2020-2021 PMI-DVC Board of Director Positions are being accepted now through Thursday, July 25, 2019; nominations must be received by midnight, ET.

This is an opportunity for PMI-DVC members to state an interest in leading the Chapter by self-nominating, or to nominate a fellow PMI-DVC member they feel would serve well as a leader in the organization.

Term: The term of office is two calendar years beginning January 1, 2020 and applicable through December 31, 2021. Potential candidates should be aware that participation in the PMI-DVC Board of Directors is expected to require a commitment of an average of 15 hours per month in addition attendance at events to represent the Board.

Positions: All elected positions are considered Director At Large and this year there are five (5) open positions, After the election, functional roles are determined by The Board.  Positions that are open next year are:

  • President
  • President Elect
  • Vice President of Technology
  • Vice President of Governance
  • Vice President of Education

The PMI-DVC, Managing Life's Projects Program, has partnered with The Veterans Group (TVG) to support their mission through the application of project management skills and knowledge. Link:


The Veterans Group is a registered non-profit organization operating two homes in the University City section of Philadelphia. Their mission is to empower Veterans in need to achieve success in civilian society. TVG accomplishes this by providing safe and secure housing, nutritious meals, and a variety of programs and services in a community of support and care.


Please bring a donation to the September, October, and December PMI-DVC Dinner Meetings.




  • Cleaning products (laundry detergent, dish soap, cleaning sprays, paper towels, etc.);
  • Kitchen supplies (plastic wrap, aluminum foil, plastic utensils, cups, paper plates, etc.);
  • Trash bags;
  • Twin bed linens; and
  • Toilet paper (1-ply only).




Variety of individually wrapped, non-perishable, snack items, such as, granola bars, small boxes of raisins, goldfish, chips, cookies, jerky, popcorn, trail mix, nuts, sunflower seeds, crackers, fruit snacks, etc.

Parking: Registered attendees will need to show proof/photo ID to Garage Attendant for free entrance to the garage TO THE SHIPS TAVERN GARAGE (201 N. KING STREET WILMINGTON, DE 19801).  Note:  There is no guarantee space will be available but they do have overflow parking lot or public parking is available. 

A Parking Slip will be sent to you just prior to the commencement of the event.
