Volunteer Appreciation Night

PMI-Delaware Valley Chapter recognized and thanked its many dedicated volunteers at a special dinner held in April at Maggiano’s Little Italy in King of Prussia, PA.

Volunteers enjoyed a delicious dinner, the ambiance of a private, candlelit room, and entertained by Big Daddy Graham, Philly’s well-known radio icon and comedian. Several Board Members and Directors stood up and expressed their thanks to our Volunteers for their time and dedication to the success of our Chapter.

It is only through volunteers that the Chapter achieves its goal of being a valuable resource to its members and the field of Project Management.

We are pleased to announce that Michael Kearse, Chapter-VP of Technology, was selected as our 2015 Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his valuable contributions to Chapter.  Michael was instrumental in driving a new look and layout for the Chapter’s website.  He also managed the implementation of a new email service that resulted in improved communications and efficiencies in sharing information, as well as implementation of the Google Content Management System.

Michael shared the Volunteer of the Year Award with his team, and thanked the Board for providing him with the opportunity for leadership and growth in the profession of project management.

Lana Rudolph, VP of Volunteer Management, gave special thanks to the volunteer project team who worked tirelessly to make this evening a success: Andy Papada, Jerzy Dutkiewicz, Jill Emery, Robin Taylor, and Jessie Malloy.
