Hammond, PMP, is an IT Project Manager with DuPont in Wilmington, DE.  He has over 15 years of professional experience working in the pharmaceutical, educational and chemical industries, and has been a practicing project manager since 2001.  In addition to being a PMP, Fred has also achieved the following credentials: CSSBB (Corporate Six Sigma Black Belt), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).


At DuPont, Fred has managed global IT projects in the following areas: Telecommunications, Mobility, and Facilities Management.  Before coming to DuPont, Fred worked primarily in the Windows desktop and server technology areas, including desktop deployments, system administration, and server reengineering. In addition to his professional experience, Fred enjoys supporting charitable organizations such as local Boys & Girls clubs, United Way, and Habitat for Humanity.


Fred holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Information Systems from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.  Fred is happily married with 2 sons and resides in Delaware County, PA.

TWG supports clients through all the stages of the program or project life cycle. Frank is an excellent leader with the ability to pull the best people together for a project and to make a great team of them. He is adept in all the aspects of project management (PM) including the management of time, resources, cost, risk, scope, contracts, quality and communication. Specialties include, team planning, fast-track project management, management by exception using earned value, litigation avoidance and mediation.

His seminars on PM, PMP certification & PM software are in demand, worldwide. He has given classes to representatives of hundreds of companies. At Microsoft's request, he led an in-house team to produce and market GTW's Project Partner and other Microsoft Project companion products and to customize Microsoft Project for specific companies. Frank has lived long-term in Sydney, Vancouver , Turkey (where he was found equal to a donkey by a Turkish magistrate), Seattle, and Dallas and he currently lives in the Philadelphia / New York City corridor.

raguerrero1.jpgRuth Anne Guerrero, MBA, PMP joined Keystone Mercy Health Plan (KMPH) in April of 2007 as Vice President, Project Management Office (PMO). She has a broad background in project management, with particular expertise in establishing and managing PMOs. Ruth Anne was a founding member of the Long Island PMI Chapter and former VP of Programs. When her job transferred her to the Philadelphia area in late 2004, she became a volunteer coordinator and is currently the Vice President of Education for the PMI Delaware Valley Chapter.

Ruth Anne has worked at JPMorgan Chase Cardmember Services where she was Vice President responsible for the Project Management Center of Excellence (COE), a project office and competency development center that supported project managers worldwide. . Ruth Anne has also held positions at Cablevision Systems Corporation and the Long Island Lighting Company. Ruth Anne has long been involved in standardizing project management processes and promoting ways that the project management discipline can help organizations improve their project execution, thereby enabling the attainment of strategic business goals.

leo.jpgLeo Connolly PMP is a Project Manager in the Information Technology Department of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia . In addition to being a PMP Leo has also achieved the following credentials: RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer), NTS (Network Transport Specialist), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

Leo is a technology infrastructure specialist and is a member of the Building Industry Consulting Service International, a professional association supporting the information transport systems industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies worldwide. Leo originally from Ireland is a proud US Citizen and lives with his family in Blue Bell, Montgomery County PA. He has worked in the design and management of technology infrastructure and systems for over twenty years. He has been employed as a Subcontract Manager and Planning Engineer on large multi million dollar construction projects including offshore gas rigs and oil refineries in a variety of European Countries before settling in the United States which he now considers his home.

Leo has worked at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for the last five year's. His responsibilities in his current position include the implementation and management of information systems on all large construction projects for the Hospital. Since its start in 1855 as the nation's first hospital devoted exclusively to caring for sick children the Hospital has fostered many medical discoveries and innovations that have improved pediatric healthcare and saved countless children's lives all over the World. Leo strongly believes that the work he does everyday contributes to the Hospital's success and its mission to provide caring for sick children and their families.

grigg.jpgMr. Grigg became a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in November, 1994. Mr. Grigg became a founding member of PMI/Keystone Chapter in the spring of 1995. Mr. Grigg was the Valley Forge Regional Secretary of the Keystone Chapter from 1995 to 1996. He, also, served as Chapter President for the Keystone Chapter from 1997 to 1998. Mr. Grigg is currently a member of the Delaware Valley Chapter (DVC) of PMI, since 1999. Mr. Grigg participated in putting together the PMI-DVC “Complete Project Manager Workshop” in October 2003. He has served on the “Earl Feight Project Management Excellence Award” project team from August, 2005 to January, 2007. In 2008, Mr. Grigg currently serves as Vice President of Volunteer Processes on the Delaware Valley Chapter Board of Directors. While serving on the chapter Board of Directors, he developed and documented the chapter’s Volunteer Process. Mr. Grigg, also, served briefly as the Director of Volunteer Activities.

Mr. Grigg had been with PECO Energy (now Exelon Corporation) for 28 years. He retired from PECO in April, 2001. He is a certified project management professional from PMI and is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania. Mr. Grigg has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Widener University.

 Janet Burns, PMP is currently an independent project management consultant and trainer, specializing in project management process and methodology implementation.  Ms. Burns currently consults with organizations on how to implement project management practices appropriate for their size and culture. Ms. Burns also delivers a range of project management and six sigma courses.  Prior to starting her own business, Ms. Burns implemented PMO’s at Viacom and the New York Times Company when she was Director of Project Management for those corporations.  Ms. Burns has been in the IT field for over 20 years with extensive experience managing large software implementation projects and enterprise wide process improvement projects.    Ms. Burns is a past president of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Project Management Institute, and is a frequent speaker at industry events.  She was recently named to the PMI Power 50, a list of 50 prolific leaders in project management, and was a volunteer on the PMBOK Fourth Edition project.
Ms. Burns holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Maeghan holds dual B.S. degrees in Human Resources and Business Administration from Cabrini College. She is an Associate Business Continuity Planner and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  Her work at Aetna consists of working in IT on application implementations and testing that includes all areas of project management and six sigma.

Maeghan has been a member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2005, and has been a volunteer for various projects, including participation on the team that planned the 2008 Regional Board Meeting, Networking Breakfasts and the creation of the PMI-DVC Marketing & Communications Plan.

lsheely_pmi-dvc.jpgLester Sheely, PMP has been a member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of PMI since 2007, but has been involved with project management most of his career.  Working on projects where operations are coordinated with multiple international business centers requires the need for robust organization and communication skills.  Implementing processes that follow best practices in project management provides a better understanding of all aspects of work involved from inception through completion phases.  Lester has been involved with product development in technology, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and government enterprises.  What all projects have in common is a customer.  Understanding and addressing the needs of both our internal and external customers is critical for the success of any project. 

While outside the office, Lester can be found enjoying the outdoor experience.  During the warm seasons, riding the bike, taking the golf clubs for a walk, or getting out for a sail are good ways to catch up with friends.  Once the weather changes to the colder side, the skis come out and he can be found on slopes instructing, or simply enjoying the mountain experience with friends and family.

Ms. Howard is the President of SANology, Inc. and has successfully sustained her small business for ten years.  SANology is a premier Storage Engineering and Management Firm specializing in the assessment, design and implementation of Storage Area Networks.
As a project manager Ms. Howard has worked with Fortune 500 companies in the financial and pharmaceutical industries to implement highly visible projects critical to achieving business objectives.  She was recognized for her efforts as an essential project resource and received the Beckon Award while consulting at The Vanguard Group.

Ms. Howard continues to strengthen her industry knowledge and education by staying active in professional organizations and continuously improving her project management skills. Most recently she completed the Master’s Certificate in Project Management at Villanova University.

Additionally, Ms. Howard is very active in civic outreach.  She served as President of the Philadelphia Chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc. in 2006 and 2007 and Treasurer in 2008.  Chapter highlights while under her leadership includes adopting by-laws, creating a business plan, chapter policies and procedures, launching a website and creating a centralized membership database. The chapter was successful in obtaining grants from the City of Philadelphia to support a teen mentorship program for disadvantaged teenage mothers, which continues to operate today.

Shortly after joining the Delaware Valley Chapter of PMI she volunteered to be a team member on the New Membership Welcoming Program Project.  Ms. Howard is also an active member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and affiliated with the North Penn Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to that he served as  Sr. Project Lead  for  introduction of  Ethernet  services with AT&T  where he worked with  Product Line Management,  Business Analysis,  Software  Development,  System Test &  Customer Service organizations.

 Sanjoy  holds  Master Of  Technology  degree from a premium institute.  He  obtained his PMP certification in 2008 and avid  advocate of   Project   Management   processes   in  improving  organization  productivity  and effectiveness.  He has been an active volunteer of  PMI   Delaware Valley   Chapter   working   on  portal  content management processes  to support  the chapter members.  He  is married  with 1 son and resides  in Berks County, PA.

Richard Kornstedt has a degree in Computer Information Systems from Bloomsburg University, in Pennsylvania. He attained a Project Management Certificate from Penn State University and passed his PMP in 2006.

 Richard has been employed at CA (formerly Computer Associates) since 1997. He has been involved in countless IT projects over the last twelve years, serving several roles along the way. Mr. Kornstedt came into the role of Project Manager in 2005 and has thrived in this role ever since. He has gone from managing a handful of projects for the Enterprise Reports Management team to the roles of Mainframe Mid-Atlantic Regional Program Manager and Regional Chief of Staff. Within these roles, Mr. Kornstedt manages six product portfolios with a total budget in the $30 million range and the products associated with those portfolios generate hundreds of millions in revenue for CA. His highest priority initiative at the moment is evangelizing and adopting Agile Project Management with Scrum within his Region and adoption of CA’s mission critical initiative, Mainframe 2.0.

 Mr. Kornstedt has been a member of PMI since 2005 and involved with the Delaware Valley chapter ever since. He first volunteered and managed the PMP Awareness event and simultaneously worked with the very successful Tools Conference Team.

frankmckeown.jpg  Frank McKeown PMP, is an IT Project Manager formerly with Pfizer Inc.  He has over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications and Networking in Pharmaceutical, Non Profit and Financial industries.  Frank has also held various management positions with Educational Testing Services, Glaxo Smith Kline, and Fidelity Bank.    In these capacities he has held certifications with AT&T, Nortel , Avaya. Siemens platform technologies.

He is a skilled, versatile communicator and facilator , with exceptional interpersonal skills, effective with co-workers, clients, vendors, and technical participants at all organizational levels.   Frank has received company awards  for his expertise and ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure domestic and international  projects run efficiently, in order to meet or exceed client expectations.

Frank has participated as a mentor and occasional instructor in the PMI-DVC high school programs at West Philadelphia HS, Edison HS and Rose Tree Media.  in 2008, collaborating with other members of the high school mentoring program and the PMI Educational Foundation assisted in developing  two  publications "The Curriculum for Secondary Schools" and "Program Development Handbook".   He also served on the New Membership Welcoming Program Project.

 dan_g._kec.jpg                                                                                             Currently a Sr. Information Security Risk Analyst / Project Manager for Independence Blue Cross, managing small and large-scale projects, subject matter expert in Information Technology Sales and Marketing systems, security and heallth insurance systems.  Hands-on involvement in system and applications development both web and client server technologies.

 Prior to employment at Independence Blue Cross, Dan was President of the consulting firm KEC Soultions, Inc. that involved managing and developing business and IT projects including servicing accounts both locally and abroad.

 Dan’s experience in computers, Information Technolgy and project management expands over 28 years.  He holds a BS in Information Technology and an MBA in Global Management.  He is an Adjunct Professor since 2006, teaching Business and Computer Science courses and conducting leadership workshops for Delaware County Community College.

 An active member of the PMI [Project Management Institute] working towards his PMP certification and volunteer in the following PMI projects: "Spring Garden Alive" Project as Project Administrator School District of Phila. Project Management Course as Project Administrator and Student Mentor including the completion of the Rose Tree Media School District Educational Resource Center Project. Pat's responsibilities include meeting coordination, volunteer activities and other chapter functions. Pat mans the reception desk to welcome members and guests to chapter dinner meetings and conferences. She posts events to the web site and monitors Acteva for event attendance. Pat enjoyed a long career serving as an executive secretary to senior-level executives in a Fortune 500 company. Technology advances allowed her to leave the corporate world in 1989 to start her own business which now specializes in offering administrative services to professional organizations. In addition to her work with PMI-DVC, Pat is the administrator for the Philadelphia Area Chapter of SIM.
